What ProofBefore processes

ProofBefore lets you paste text or select screenshots and photos for review. In V0.1, text recognition from images and the rule-based analysis of that text are performed on your device.

No account and no cloud backend

• No ProofBefore account is required.
• ProofBefore V0.1 does not use a ProofBefore cloud backend for analysis.
• ProofBefore does not intentionally transmit the text you analyze, imported screenshots, or analysis results to our servers in V0.1.

Local storage

Your analysis history is stored locally on your device so you can review prior checks. Removing the app or clearing its local data may remove that history.

Photos and screenshots

When you choose an image, ProofBefore accesses the selected item only so it can extract text for the requested analysis. ProofBefore does not operate a cloud photo library or upload service in V0.1.

Third-party services

ProofBefore V0.1 does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or account-tracking services. Apple may process technical information as part of operating iOS, TestFlight, and the App Store under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.

Children

ProofBefore is a general-purpose informational utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If future versions add cloud features, accounts, analytics, subscriptions, or other data processing, this policy will be updated before or when those features are introduced.
